Welcome to The Old Print Barn!
Welcome to the Old Print Barn located in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, offering over 50,000 works of art on display spanning four centuries, from all over the world in a 40’ x 40’ Civil War-era finished two story barn. The works on display include a vast array of mediums including aquatints, drypoints, line engravings, etchings, lithographs, mezzotints, monotypes, photogravures, serigraphs, woodcuts, linoleumcuts, wood engravings, as well as photography, oil paintings and watercolors.
Works by such famous artists as Picasso, Whistler, Homer, Bartlett, Currier & Ives, Audubon, Benson, Hirschfeld, and Wallace Nutting are well represented. Also there is an extensive collection of contemporary artists works. Some representing New Hampshire and New England, some from all over the United States, and other countries. Working in all types of media, some of the artists choose vibrant colors and some black & white. Whatever the artists tastes are, all of their artwork shows tremendous talent, and all are very stunning.
